TRAINING COURSE ON RENEWABLE ENERGY, ENERGY TRANSITION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN CENTRAL ASIA
About This Course
This training course, originally delivered for young female specialists and students from Central Asia, Afghanistan and Mongolia, was developed to equip young specialists with the necessary skills for the energy jobs of the future and encourage them to pursue careers and promote this change among their communities. It was prepared within the framework of the OSCE-DKU partnership on "Empowering Young Central Asian Women in the Energy Sector”.
Course Curriculum
Module 1: Renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) policy / International and regional context (8 lectures)
Module 2: Technical aspects of RES and EE (8 lectures)
Module 3: Economic, financial and organizational aspects of RES and EE (7 lectures)
Module 4: Pilots and practitioners in the field of RES and EE (5 lectures)
Module 5: Women's initiatives on RES and EE (8 lectures)
Target Audience
The course welcomes participants with any educational background and offers valuable content for both specialists and students interested in renewable energy, energy, ecology, environment, and sustainable development. Additionally, it covers topics related to the Central Asian region, making it beneficial for researchers specializing in this area.
